LABOUR TRAFFICKING is not just something that happens abroad - it exists in our own backyard. Together we can make a difference.
AURORA HOUSE presents an interactive event exploring the issue of FORCED LABOUR.
Visit information booths, watch video presentations, listen to speakers and discover ways to help.
The event will explore the crime of forced labour both internationally and here in Ontario.
Attendees can register to participate in simulations of sweat shop conditions that will consist of sitting at a table without breaks doing one repetitive monotonous task. Simulation options include:
- Full Six-Hour Simulation
- 1 Hour Simulation Experience
- Sit-and-Go Simulation (based on capacity)
Participants can join discussion groups to share their thoughts and experiences once they complete their simulation.
Funds raised will go to support Aurora House.
